Space: An account where you can save all your favorite websites, articles, links, and any content online you find interesting. So that you can refer back in future whenever and wherever you need them from any computer with an Internet connection across the globe. You can access the account page of any user having an account on oneBookmarks.

Language: The uniqueness about oneBookmarks is that it provides you the option for bookmarking in your own language where you can save URL's having different language content; tag in your own language and save it in your account online. The user can type in his language by selecting that language page while saving a bookmark.

Share: Share what you find interesting with others, and view what others find interesting.

Social bookmarking enables you to save and share bookmarks online instead of storing it on your browser. So that:

What are tags? (^Top)

A complete URL is difficult to remember for future reference. Therefore to save a URL (web page) you can use "tags".
Tags are the keywords that you assign to the URL's while saving them, so that you can find them easily in future.
For example if you are going through a web page having content about sports you can tag that URL with "sports" as the tag. In this way you can assign different tags to different URL's. So that when you refer a particular tag you will get all the web pages that you have saved under that tag.
You also have the option of saving a URL with tags that are frequently used by most of the users for convenience.

How do I get started? (^Top)

To start saving your bookmarks all you need to do is register with oneBookmarks.
You can explore what other people are bookmarking by clicking on popular and recent links on the home page without logging in. Where you can find interesting links that other people are bookmarking. You can explore the tag cloud where the popular tags are more highlighted. And browse your favorite tags and the web pages saved under that tag.

How to add/save bookmarks? (^Top)
|
For adding a bookmark click on the add bookmark link on the home page. This will open a login/signup page for a guest user. For a logged in user Add bookmark link will open a page for adding bookmark. Copy the URL of the web page that you want to bookmark and paste it in the space provided for URL. Then click continue. On next page there will be a space for entering the title. There will be a space for writing notes about that bookmark. There will be a space for entering the tags. You can enter the title, notes, and tags in your own language by selecting the language from the dropdown menu. Make your entries and click the save button. The bookmark will get saved in your account.

Discovering bookmarks? (^Top)
|
You can find the popular and recent bookmarks by clicking on the respective links on the home page. Popular category displays the links that are saved by number of people, and as a particular link is viewed more it gets moving up on the popular list. You can also see the number of people who have bookmarked the same link (URL's). Similarly the recent category shows the links that have been bookmarked recently by other people, with more recent on top of the list.
You can find links bookmarked by different users under different tags. As a tag gets used more it gets more highlighted on the tag cloud. You can click on the more tags link of tag cloud to view the complete tag cloud. Click on your favorite tag on the tag cloud to see all the links (URL's) that are tagged under that.

What are User Notes? (^Top)
|
User notes are the notes entered by the users while adding or saving a bookmark. When you click on the Bookmarked by 112 link you can view the page containing notes of all the users who have bookmarked that URL.

What are Comments? (^Top)
|
Comments link opens a page where you can view the comments made by users on a particular bookmark and you can write your comments on that bookmark.

Which Languages are available? (^Top)
|
We have six languages English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam.

What are the items in Navigation? (^Top)

Login
If you are a registered user, click on the login link. This will open a page where you have to enter your user id and password and press enter. This will open your account page.
Register
If you are a new user, click on the register link. This will open a page where you have to enter few details to get registered and press register. This will process your details and you get registered.
Add bookmark
This link will open a login/register page for a guest user. For a logged in user Add bookmark link will open a page for adding bookmark.
